Its like the more you hate it, the more knowledgeable and superior you think you are. Frankly its sickening.
Star Wars A New Hope was never a perfect movie. If it was released today, the same hateful reviewers who claim to be Star Wars fans would flood it with hateful reviews of how many plotholes it contained.
My advice: Just enjoy the story for what it is. In my opinion, it was excellent entertainment, a great story, a fitting continuation and conclusion of the saga.
